A New Song is Conceived

Here is a "sip" from a new song I am working on {NEW SONG SNIPPET}.  Hopefully it will play for you.  I like the feel of it so far.  Nice little groove to it.  Layered on some drum beats and testing a little bit of synth .  It's rough going and slower than usual since I am using new recording software, but that is how things roll in this world sometimes isn't it?  The lyrics swimming around inside my brain are fuzzy but starting to coalesce too.

BTW: I just uploaded my complete art work, sketches and song lyrics for my first album "Loves Marrow".  Available if you download the entire album at davidhusted.com. This CD was dedicated to my mom who passed away in late  2013.  I love you and miss you mom.........Thank You all  and have a fantastic weekend........Dave

What is this "new recording software" pray tell? You were using PreSonus Studio previously, yes?

Actually, I was using Sonar which I Loved and actually miss but my pc laptop just did not have the ram to keep up. It was an old pc relative to pc age (same as dog and cat years). I am now using a Mac with logic X however the s/w I am trying is Live currently because it is supposedly pretty stable for Live performance. Lesson learned, the daw is not that important. The song at source is the most important Cheers

Is that Ableton Live you're trying? That's what I use.
