I have all my songs listed in a spreadsheet which I randomize. Today's shuffle brought up a song that resides on my album Your Corners Curve Like Lemonade which was released back in 2020.
I first started creating music on a 4 track player in the late 80's and early 90's. I absolutely loved it. This is despite the warble and tape hiss and degraded performance created by the recording medium and my own amateur expertise at using it.
I deliberately created some degraded tape hiss and warble in the front portion of this song to emulate the effect for nostalgic reasons and then gradually faded it out to bring us back to the world of digital environment grade capabilities.
This is one of my personal favorites in my collection and especially like the change-up that kicks in at about 2:30 into the song.
The picture captures me on a sailing trip I took with friends a very long time ago on the Chesapeake welcoming a beautiful sunrise.
Thank You
Dave
