Words, at times, randomly strike me as interesting, captivating or curious. Sometimes I pin them here if I am so inclined, which I was, as I sit here on a late Sunday evening in mid October with a cup of green tea in my hand contemplating.
Emerveillement: A sudden surge of wonder. That breath-caught moment when the world astonishes you, even in its quietest corners. To feel small in the presence of something vast, and happy to be humbled.
Traveling through the old city, I felt a quiet émerveillement that stayed with me long after I left.
